This is the new Mercedes-Benz Concept CLA!! It’s a preview of the next-gen CLA EV model. Expect it to somewhat look like this minus the exaggerated concept car features. In addition, Mercedes stated it will be powered by a rear-mounted motor with a two-speed transmission and 800-volt architecture. As a result, it has an estimated range of about 466 miles. Using DC fast-charging at 250kW it can add 200 miles of range in just 15 minutes as well. The automaker says the CLA takes inspiration from the Vision EQXX concept for both its electric motors and dash-spanning Superscreen infotainment system. Furthermore, Mercedes stated it will be capable of Level 3 autonomous driving at some point during its production cycle. More solid details will be announced when the production version is revealed in the coming months.
