The TWR Supercat is a high-performance restomod based on the Jaguar XJS. It features an aggressive carbon-fiber body with flared wheel arches, a front splitter, and a large rear spoiler. Under the hood is a supercharged V-12 engine producing around 600 horsepower, mated to a six-speed manual transmission that sends power exclusively to the rear wheels. Only 88 units of the Supercat will be built, with a starting price of around $282,000.
The Supercat is the first model from the revived TWR brand, which was founded by the late Tom Walkinshaw and is now led by his son Fergus. TWR has a storied history in motorsports, having developed Jaguar’s Le Mans-winning prototype racers as well as the XJ220 and XJR-15 road cars. The Supercat is described as the “first of a new generation of cars” from TWR, suggesting more outlandish models are on the way.
