Genesis has announced the upcoming release of new vehicles. In fact, this week Genesis USA unveiled some impressive concept cars. Among them was the GV60Magma, a concept car that is expected to become a production car soon and will not be limited in quantity. Although no specifications on the GV60 Magma Concept have been released, it will likely use an upgraded battery and electric motor similar to the ones found in the Ioniq5 N and EV6 GT.
Another standout concept car was the G80MagmaSpecial, a sleek and powerful midsize gas-powered executive sedan that appears ready to compete with the likes of the Audi S6, BMW M550i, and Mercedes-AMG E53. While the company has not revealed many details about this vehicle, it is suspected that it will have a 3.5L Twin-Charged V6 engine, similar to the one found in the G90.
Although the company has not confirmed that this car will be available in the US, it may be sold through local Genesis dealerships, especially considering that it will be available in the Middle East. While it is too early to know what the official name of their Performance division will be, we do know that Magma is simply a concept for now and that the name for the upcoming high-performance Genesis models has not yet been finalized.
