In the run-up to the Los Angeles Motor Show, Kia unveils the Concept EV9, an SUV that is presented with a range of close to 500 kilometers.

Kia already thinks about the future and that is why it brings to light the Concept EV9, a model that anticipates the path of things to come for the South Korean firm.

It will also be based on the E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform) modular electrical platform.

The length of 4,930 millimeters, a height of 1,790 mm, and a width of 2,060 mm are part of its measurements. Meanwhile, the 3,100 mm wheelbase would allow a third row of seats to be included.

On the other hand, the Kia EV9 Concept is ours with a front of great size as well as a very marked side on the wheel arches.

Two-tone wheels and a large tailgate framed by light lines give it a futuristic look.

Inside, it surely shows elements that will not be from the game at the time of its serial production. The forward look takes over the environment with an offbeat steering wheel that adds a few commands.

The 27-inch central screen connected to the digital dashboard in addition to the individual seats next to an opening of facing doors is striking.

As for the propulsion, the Kia EV9 Concept still plays the mystery. The only information revealed so far is that it will offer a range of 480 kilometers.

The capacity of the battery is also unknown, although thanks to the fast recharging system it could take around 30 minutes to supply 80 percent of the energy source.

The Kia EV9 Concept allows us to anticipate what the next large electric SUV will be like.
