The Avatr 12 is the latest electric car from China developed in collaboration between Changan, Huawei, and CATL.
It is the brand’s first sedan and is larger than the Nio ET7.
Two powertrains will be offered: a rear-wheel drive model with a single electric motor producing 308hp and a dual-motor, all-wheel drive version generating 569hp.
Battery pack details are not known yet, but it is expected to have similar options as its SUV sibling.
The Avatr 12’s exterior resembles the 11 SUV but in a sedan form with split LED headlights and unique rear fascia. It features four different wheel designs in 20- and 21-inch sizes. The Avatr 12 has a sleek roofline, a complete glass roof similar to Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, and a pop-up spoiler. It also includes thin, horizontal LED taillights and a large hatchback design.
The Avatr 12 is set to make an impact on the electric car market with its unique design and powerful performance options. It is expected to offer a compelling option in the sedan segment.
