Lotus, traditionally known for its lightweight sports cars, is launching a new model that marks a significant shift from its usual offerings. The 2024 Lotus Eletre is a high-performance electric SUV, built in China and set to debut in the U.S. in 2023. Unlike previous Lotus models, the Eletre is heavier due to its large battery but still offers strong performance with its electric motors producing at least 603 horsepower.

  • Interior: Available as a four-seater with individual rear seats or a five-seater with a rear bench. The interior features high-end materials like microfiber, stitched leather, wool-blend fabric, and milled bronze accents, providing a luxurious experience.
  • The Eletre aims to compete with other electric SUVs like the Audi e-tron and BMW iX and bears a resemblance to the Lamborghini Urus.
