The Land Rover Defender 130 Outbound of 2024 is a new iteration of the iconic off-roader that has taken it to greater heights. It is designed to cater to the needs of adventure enthusiasts and anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury and ruggedness with enhanced features and capabilities.

To create this version, Land Rover starts by taking the extra-long Defender 130 and removing the third row to maximize cargo space. With the back seat folded, the vehicle provides almost 90 cubic feet of cargo space. The rearmost windows are covered with body-colored panels, and the vehicle is equipped with unique 20″ gloss-black wheels on a Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac A/T tire.

The wheels and tires can carry up to 370 lbs of dynamic weight on the roof with the option of roof rails and crossbars. A fold-out ladder is also provided with our test vehicle to enable easy access to items placed on the roof.

The side panel storage box is an ideal place to store wet or muddy gear. Under the hood, you’ll find the 3.0L Twin-Charger I-6 with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. It delivers the same 395 HP and 406 lb-ft of torque through an 8-speed AT and full-time 4WD. We were able to clock a reasonably quick 0-60 mph time in just 6.5 secs.

Although the Land Rover Defender has been on the market for almost four years, this beefy SUV still boasts a perfect retro rugged design that continues to turn heads on the road. Last year, the company sold more than 21,000 units, making it the best-selling vehicle in their US portfolio. Pricing for the Defender Outbound starts at just over $84k.
