The GT90 was a concept car introduced in 1995, following the New Edge design philosophy. This new render by Rostislav Prokop envisions how the GT90 could be updated for 2023 while retaining its original spirit. Changes include a longer, wider body with a flatter front end, modern LED headlights, an open grille, and conventional side mirrors. The aquamarine alloy wheels replace the original midnight blue rims, and modern design elements like a black front lip and aerodynamic features are added. The rear of the car resembles the McLaren Speedtail with a diffuser, round lights, and an updated engine cover.
The original GT90 had a quad-turbocharged 5.9-liter V12 engine with 720 hp and a top speed of 253 mph. The modern version would likely feature a hybrid powertrain for efficiency. The interior’s blue theme, a memorable part of the original, is hoped to be retained in the new Ford GT90 concept.
