Mercedes Benz announced to the world that they will be making their very own double cab bakkie. The concept was unveiled on 2016 25th of October. Less than five years after its release it was discontinued in 2020 due to poor sales.
After all the car was competing with heavyweights, cars who’ve been making double cap bakkies for decades the likes of Toyota and Ford. The X-class might have hit rock bottom but Mercedes is planning to revive it, this time it will be bigger and better. Mercedes is planning to release a 6×6 X-class, this will be the little brother of the G63 6×6.
