Built by Legends, a Japanese company specializing in restomod projects, has revealed their most recent creation: an updated version of the R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R. While it may look like a regular R34 at first sight, this car has undergone full disassembly and reconstruction, justifying its initial price of $450,000.

Under the hood, you’ll find a MINE’S MB7 engine, which is based on a 24U N1 engine block and is paired with a 6-speed heavy-duty manual gearbox that sends power to all four wheels. With an 8,000 RPM redline, this beast produces 650HP and is accompanied by meticulous engine enhancements, including a MINE’S carbon air intake duct, fuel delivery pipe, and an airflow meter from the R35 GT-R. The engine modifications are completed with a MINE’S Titanium tower bar.

Before adding 400 new spot welds, each original R34 undergoes a 108-point 3D alignment test to reinforce the structure. Additionally, the car’s body undergoes wet blasting, anti-rust coating, and a two-tone paint job. Moreover, every vehicle comes with a new suspension, AP Racing brakes, carbon body panels, and an upgraded interior. Customers can choose to either go through the complete resto-mod process or simply restore their R34.
