“The nicest way to drive a Mercedes-Benz is in a coupé,” said former Daimler boss Dieter Zetsche. This statement should still have some justification in the future – at least when the vision of a “Mercedes 2-Door Coupé 2030” becomes reality. However, this Mercedes of tomorrow is not an official study from Stuttgart, but the work of a young designer named KyungJin Ju.

The South Korean calls the gullwing with the large glass dome “Rêve”. It’s French and means “dream”. With this naming, the “Mercedes 2-Door Coupé 2030” fits very well into the Mercedes-Benz luxury portfolio. After all, Mercedes-Benz Cars is quite rightly of the opinion that the particularly emotional Mercedes models – i.e. the two-door coupés and cabriolets – are absolute dream cars.
