The CC8S defined the new “megacar” category twenty years after the introduction of Koenigsegg’s first production car. The Koenigsegg CC850 was introduced to an audience of journalists, consumers, and industry luminaries at 2022 The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the CC8S.
The CC850’s 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 1,185 horsepower on gasoline or 1,385 hp on E85, as well as 1,385 nm (1,020 lb-ft) of torque.
